American Girl Beds {made by me}

I have 5 {great} nieces
{+2 more coming this Spring}
The oldest is 7 and the youngest is 1
The older 4 are in love with American Girls
and Santa had confirmed delivery.
I asked the girls their absolute favorite color and Auntie got busy!
I'm not one to brag about my work, but these turned out FAR cuter than I could have EVER imagined!
I bought the beds here and was more than happy with the beds and the service (they gave me a deal on the shipping cause I was buying 5).
Sorry for the picture overload... I just can't help myself ;)

Taelynn's
Scrappy ticker-tape pattern

Adilynn's
Hand stitched heart

Gabrielle's
Tumbler pattern w/ her name hand stitched

Stella's
Star pattern

Isabelle's
Cheveron pattern. She's only one year old and when she received it she was laying in it :). She LOVES the little pillow and insists on sleeping with it. Too cute!

And there they are... getting their "rest"... they're gonna need it!
I even made American Girl gift tags :).
{I gave these to the girls at the Family Christmas Party}
I enjoyed every minute of making these.
There is love in every stitch!
With 2 more baby girls coming in 2012, I'll be doing it again and
I CAN'T WAIT!

Fun Day :)

The day of family pics and the family Christmas party
I took these two kiddos and headed out for a little fun (also so my sister could put the finishing touches on the house and dinner).
3-D/Glow-in-the-dark mini golf
Best cousins... They love each other.
They are just over 2 years apart.
 My boy!
 I love my TaeTae

Taelynn wanted her picture with Dorothy
Bumper cars (Tae's driving one too, somewhere)
Carson played lazer tag, Tae was going to but changed her mind when they played the video of what to do. It had a dark/sci-fi feel to it... I didn't blame her, I wouldn't have wanted to either.
Good, good kids! Love you guys xoxoxo!

Bloggers' Quilt Festival: My entry "Something Blue"

Amy'sCreativeSide

Welcome, Blogger's Quilt Festival visitors! I want to share a quilt I made for my BFF Alisha, for her wedding gift. (Yes, I blogged it a few months ago.)
When I seen this fabric, I screamed Alisha to me.

Aqua, Brown and Orange
Backing is white linen
Binding is aqua
Hand-quilted (with love!)

You would never know by looking at these pictures that it's ~124* outside!
The label is my favorite part of this quilt! It says "Something Blue ~ made for my best friend on her wedding day. june 25, 2011  <3 robin"
And there it is... ready to be shipped off to a buffalo ranch in Montana.
Thanks for looking!

Mama got a new pair of shoes!

These :)

A few weeks ago my Sister Velvet, Carson and I watched my nephew Bryce while my Bro and Sis-in-law had a little retreat to San Fran.  We had such a great time!  Spending time with Bryce is reward enough, but a few days after we got home I got a thank you card in the mail with a gift card to DSW!!! Bonus!

Vel chose these:

How did I not take a single picture of our stay? Bummer!

Happy {2nd} Birthday Bryce!

Two years ago today, this lovely child was born...
I absolutely adore this child!
This picture was taken at the rodeo,
Iron County Fair in September.

Bryce is the perfect baby, here's why:
Sleeps like an Angel, put him in his crib with Rhino
and he doesn't make a peep till morning.
Has a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.
Goes with the flow and he's happy with whoever he is with.
SMART! This baby can read, yes r.e.a.d. read!
He has watched Your Baby Can Read since birth.
His Mommy is a Master Teacher and works with him,
right now he is learning his x2's, yes his times tables!
He loves his Aunt Bub.
